Prequel to the Sequel

Break Dancing

Posted in Editorial by brmeyer3 on 04/16/2009

Later today i had to go to downtown Champaign to cover an event for the Boneyard festival. I could have chosen from several different events, and navigated towards the break dancing portion because it was the most interesting for me to shoot, and i though i could get some really cool shots going wide and get some drama in them. It wasn’t the best lighting conditions because the sun was at high noon and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky, but i was happy how they came out. I would have preferred to shoot them around 6, but i needed to get the photos in for deadline.

you’re redic with the sun at high noon you decreased the shadows due to your amazing white reflector(ground) and thus created that dynamic range that makes your images almost appear HDR! Good work son! But i agree always be concerned with the background!
