Prequel to the Sequel

What a wreck

Earlier today Me and a lot of guys from work, (Jeremy, Dean, Face, Wesley, and Ramzi) went to an abandoned air force base for a couple hours and just wandered around with our cameras. It was amazing how much the building has degraded since it was closed, which was some time in the 80’s. The place was flooded with water which was dripping from the ceiling, ceiling tiles and light fixtures had fallen to the floor from all the rotting, lead paint was just flaking off the walls, stalagmites of asbestos were hanging from everything and had accumulated on the floors, and people crap was just spread out all over the place. We were pretty much walking through a death trap. Their wasn’t much light coming into this place and i didnt bring a tripod, so I had my camera set on ISO 3200-6400 which isn’t the greatest for prints, but i think the dirtiness from the noise could add to the image. Also, 17mm full frame worked wonders for the insides of these rooms. I know I’m going to end up back at this place, and i cant wait to see what else is in their.
