Prequel to the Sequel

Campaigning with graffiti

Posted in Editorial by brmeyer3 on 03/02/2010

Sunday night, I was sent to the quad to take photos of a student chalking it up. He was running for a seat in the Illinois Student Senate and was writing all over the quad with chalk as part of his campaign. Thank god I have ISO 6400 and a 28 and 85 f/1.8 lenses. It was terribly dark on the quad, which made focusing a nightmare, but I got a lot of shots I liked. It was funny watching him chalk, cause he had a sense of nervousness while doing it (I dont think its “illegal” to chalk the quad) and I got a couple shot of him looking up as if someone was going to yell at him to stop.
